290-291/365: Drained

I am trying to gear up for spending time with my wife’s family—a very large, and loving crowd. But it can be draining for me, an introvert, to spend a great deal of time and energy in the midst of that. It will be fun to see the kids open their gifts though. So I’m looking forward to that part.

So I came home after Christmas Eve at my mother-in-laws and I feel drained. Everyone had a great time and it was fun. And as predicted, I do feel drained. I am so looking forward to climbing into my bed and just getting some sleep.

G’night.
